It will be obvious to readers who understand the implications of “The Great Reset” — i.e., savage class war as prettified and rebranded by WEF propagandists — that the current food crisis has been deliberately engineered by our rulers and will be exploited to thrust new forms of oppression on the people.
A process already well underway is to be blamed on the war in Ukraine so as to disguise the intentions of the global ruling class, who have learned that two years of coronafascism were insufficient to crush popular resistance. Sterner measures are now required.
The current phase of global class war will entail inflicting maximum pain on the people. The end in view is to reduce workers and the poor to a state of desperation so profound that a series of previously unthinkable measures — privatization (i.e., theft) of pensions and social security, brutal cuts in social programs, rationing of gasoline, natural gas, and food, direct ruling class control of the financial system, etc. — will be gratefully accepted in exchange for starvation-level UBI or some similar larcenous scheme.
A secondary goal, not to be overlooked, is a reboot of the so-called Arab Spring period, during which the US was able to exploit hunger and unrest to destroy Global South states, steal their assets, and impose puppet leadership. The turmoil that led to Arab Spring was kicked off by food riots, due to a grain crisis caused by 2010 wildfires in the Russian breadbasket.
Our rulers know this.
When the inevitable food riots begin, keep in mind that they are a feature, not a bug, of the current war drive. Policies aimed at starving the people of Global South countries are a form of what Silicon Valley calls “creative disruption.” The ruling class wants chaos in order to take a second shot at redrawing the maps of the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Not only are these areas critical to supplying the raw materials for Western “green tech” — and growing the high quality grains and meat that Bill Gates and his ilk will feast on while the rest of us eat bugs — they are also the places where resistance to coronafascism has been strongest.
This is, of course, a dangerous game from our rulers’ point of view: They are pursuing a risky strategy because they want it all, now. They may discover that the people, enraged and with very little left to lose, will decide that they are owed justice — and will take the necessary steps to achieve it.
As daily bread is necessary
So is daily justice.
It is even necessary several times a day.
